Mongolian Kokpar Team Completes Training Camp for 5th World Nomad Games
The Mongolian National Kokpar Team has successfully completed its training camp, which was held in the picturesque Saksai Uuzhim, Bayan-Ulgii, Mongolia.
For a week, 19 athletes representing the national team trained hard, honing their skills and developing new tactics for the upcoming international competitions. Particular attention was paid to improving team play skills, developing effective strategies, and strengthening the athletes' physical endurance.
Kokpar Federation President Rom Auyeskhan noted: "Our team has worked hard to achieve success at the upcoming Games. We are confident in our abilities and intend to demonstrate the full potential of Mongolian kokpar. Our athletes are determined and ready to fight for victory."
At the 5th World Nomad Games, the kokpar competition will be held from September 9 to 12 at the Kazanat Hippodrome. Teams from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Mongolia, Hungary, China, the USA and Russia will take part in kokpar.
It is worth noting that the 5th World Nomad Games will be held from September 8 to 13. It is expected that about 2,000 participants will take part in the event. At the World Nomad Games in Astana, 97 sets of medals will be contested in 21 sports.
