MEETING IN ISTANBUL: WORLD NOMAD GAMES
In Turkey in the city of Istanbul held a meeting of the Vice-Minister of Tourism and Sports of Kazakhstan Serik Zharasbayev, head of the Directorate for the preparation and organization of the 5th World Nomad Games Nail Nurov with the President of the World Confederation of Ethnosport Bilal Erdogan, where a wide range of issues were discussed.
Vice-Minister of Tourism and Sports Serik Zharasbaev spoke about the active work carried out in the country in preparation for the World Nomad Games and the first wave of information campaigns launched.
Head of the Directorate Nail Nurov, taking into account the importance of the 5th World Nomad Games, discussed the need to cover the opening and closing ceremonies of the Games, as well as the course of the competition on the world's leading TV channels.
In turn, Bilal Erdogan, noting the growth of bilateral partnership relations, emphasized that the organization of the Games of Nomads is one of the promising projects of Kazakhstan to promote ethno-sports movement worldwide.
In addition, it was noted that the Kazakh delegation will participate in the Congress of the World Confederation of Ethnosport, which will be held from the February 16-18.
At the meeting in the office of the World Confederation of Ethnosport in Istanbul also attended the Secretary General of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States Bagdat Amreev and representatives of the Consulate General of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
About 4,000 athletes from more than 100 countries are expected to take part in the 5th World Nomad Games, which will be held in Astana from the September 8 - 14, 2024.
