Kazakh wrestlers have won 15 medals
Kazakh Wrestlers Dominate the 5th World Nomad Games with 15 Medals.
An official press conference dedicated to Kazakh kuresi (traditional wrestling) at the 5th World Nomad Games took place at the Kazmedia Center in Astana. Several distinguished speakers participated in the event, including the President of the Italian Federation of Associated Styles, Giorgi Vittorio; the General Director of the Qazaq Kuresi Association, Damir Bekbosynov; the Head Coach of Kazakhstan’s national Kazakh kuresi team, Ghani Keldikulov; and the winner in the 60 kg weight category, Meirzhan Bereketov. The conference highlighted the results of the competitions and the achievements of Kazakh athletes.
At the 5th World Nomad Games, Kazakh wrestlers earned a total of 15 medals: 12 gold, 1 silver, and 2 bronze. This remarkable result once again demonstrated the high level of skill and preparation of Kazakh athletes on the international stage.
