World Nomad Games: Kazakhstan Defeats Mongolia
The Kazakhstan national asyk team claimed a 3-0 victory over Mongolia.
Kazakhstan’s national asyk team triumphed over Mongolia with a score of 3-0 at the 5th World Nomad Games, according to the press office of the "National and Equestrian Sports Center."
In their first match in Group A against Mongolia, the Kazakhstan team left no chance for their opponents. Thus, the Kazakh athletes began the tournament with a win in the first of five matches. They will go on to face teams from Uzbekistan, Spain, Georgia, and Hungary.
In addition, the Kazakhstan women’s team also secured their first victory in their group, defeating Hungary with a score of 3-0. They are now set to play against teams from Kyrgyzstan, Sweden, and Romania.
Eight athletes represent Kazakhstan in the asyk tournament: Nurkissa Molzhigitov, Zhomart Nurlanov, Kerim Zhazdykbay, Amandos Aitkulov, Perizat Yelemes, Kamila Daniyarova, Saniya Asker, and Kogershin Duman.
The asyk competitions are being held at the "Alau" Ice Complex. The finals will take place on September 11.
