The anniversary postage stamp of the 5th World Nomad Games was ceremoniously cancelled in Astana
As part of the 5th World Nomad Games, a special cancellation ceremony of a jubilee postage stamp from the "Culture and Sports of Kazakhstan" series was held. This event has become significant for all who value and respect the rich cultural heritage of nomadic peoples.
The cancellation ceremony was held in a solemn atmosphere. Participants of the event, the Head of the Directorate for the Preparation and Holding of the 5th World Nomad Games Nayil Nurov and the Chairman of the Board of JSC "Kazpost" Assel Zhanasova proudly carried out the cancellation of a special postmark.
As part of the ceremony, the Head of the Directorate of the WNG Nayil Nurov emphasized the importance of the event and noted its cultural significance:

The anniversary postage stamp dedicated to the 5th World Nomad Games is a unique work of philatelic art. The author of the stamp is Serik Buksikov, Head of the Marketing Department of the Directorate of the World Nomad Games. The stamp depicts the image of "Berkutchi", the keeper of the ancient tradition, who symbolizes fortitude and loyalty to his roots. The central element of the stamp is a corrugated circle, symbolizing the cycle of life and the unity of time and space, embodied in the philosophy of nomads.
The stamp is issued in 5,000 copies, the nominal value is 500 tenge. Made with the use of UV paint protection elements and gold foil stamping, the stamp will become an integral part of any collection and a symbol of respect for the cultural heritage of nomadic peoples.
It is worth noting that the 5th World Nomad Games will be held on September 8-13. It is expected that about 2,800 participants from 89 countries will take part in the event. At the World Nomad Games in Astana, 97 sets of medals will be contested in 21 sports.
