The Kazakhstan national audaryspak team continues to actively prepare for the 5th World Nomad Games
On August 6, the training camp of the Kazakhstan national audaryspak team began. The team is preparing to perform at the 5th World Nomad Games in the Almaty region.
The national audaryspak team at the World Nomad Games will be represented by 12 athletes, who are currently among the strongest in the world. The head coach of the Kazakhstan national audaryspak team, Zhanbatyr Bekmursayev, said that the team will make every effort to successfully perform at the Games.
"We are already holding the second training camp before the World Nomad Games. According to plan, the athletes are getting into shape. We expect that they will reach their peak by the beginning of the Games. It is very important for us not to lose face, because Kazakhstan is the host country of the Nomad Games. We will do our best to win."
Audaryspak is an ancient sport, which is a duel between two riders on horseback. The competition is held on a specially equipped site, which is a circle with a diameter of 15 meters. The Audaryspak competition at the 5th World Nomad Games will be held in Ethnoaul on September 9-10.
