Foreign bloggers at the World Nomad Games!
On July 29, the Directorate for the preparation and holding of the 5th World Nomad Games held a special presentation for foreign bloggers and influencers at the Qazaqstan Athletics Complex in order to popularize the Games and get acquainted with the national games and the country's tourism industry.
The event was attended by 11 foreign bloggers from 8 countries, namely Thailand, Malaysia, China, Oman, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Vietnam, Italy and Kyrgyzstan. This event will ensure wide coverage and provide a unique platform to demonstrate Kazakhstan's cultural and tourism potential.
Participants included international bloggers such as Nur Ruhainies Farehah from Malaysia, an actress and presenter with 1.7 million followers on Instagram and 738.7k on TikTok, and Wang Jianing from China, a food blogger with huge audiences on Xiaohongshu, Douyin and Weibo.
As part of the event, the guests got acquainted with the unique sports that will be presented at the World Nomad Games: Kazakh kuresi, Kusbegilik, Asyk Atu, Togyzkumalak, Mangala, Oware, Mas-wrestling and Dasturli Sadak Atu. These traditional sports will not only show the richness of Kazakh culture, but will also help to emphasize its uniqueness in the international arena.
It is worth noting that the 5th World Nomad Games will be held on September 8-13. More than 2,000 participants are expected to take part in the event. The general sponsor of the 5th World Nomad Games is ALAGEUM ELECTRIC, a domestic technology company, and the main partner is Halyk Bank, the backbone universal commercial bank of the country. Athletes of the World Nomad Games held in Astana will compete for 97 sets of medals in 21 kinds of sports.
