KAZAKHSTAN KOKPAR TEAM IS PREPARING FOR THE 5TH WORLD NOMAD GAMES
The Kazakhstan National Kokpar Team is preparing for the 5th World Nomad Games at the Olympic Training Center located in the village of Zhanashar in the Almaty region. The training camp, which began on July 22, will last until August 6. Of the 29 participants who came from all over the country, 12 best athletes will be selected to participate in kokpar and another 12 to play kokboru.
“The athletes understand the importance of this training camp for each of them. Because this is one of the qualifying stages, and not just a training camp. We will make every effort to select the best athletes from different regions of the country to successfully defend the honor of the country at the 5th World Nomad Games,” said Akylbay Mankeyev, head coach of the Kazakhstan National Kokpar Team.
The national team will hold its final training camp before the 5th World Nomad Games in Astana.
It is worth noting that the 5th World Nomad Games will be held on September 8-13. It is expected that about 2,000 participants will take part in the event.
