50 DAYS LEFT UNTIL THE 5TH WORLD NOMAD GAMES!
In anticipation of a large-scale and spectacular event, there are only 50 days left until the start of the World Nomad Games. This unique festival of sports and culture of nomadic peoples will gather participants and spectators from all over the world to celebrate ancient traditions and modern achievements.
The World Nomad Games will be held from September 8 to 13 in Astana. To date, 89 countries have confirmed their participation. It is expected that more than 2,000 athletes will take part in the competition. At the World Nomad Games in Astana, 97 sets of medals will be contested in 21 sports. The general sponsor of the 5th World Nomad Games is ALAGEUM ELECTRIC, and the main partner is Halyk Bank.
Preparations for the games are entering the home stretch. The organizers are actively preparing to hold the games, completing the final preparations and ensuring comfort and safety for all participants and guests. Work is underway to organize the volunteer movement, logistics and infrastructure.
Currently, tickets for competitions such as Kazakh Kuresi, Alysh Kyrgyz Kuresi, Koresh Tatar Kuresi, traditional archery, Asyk, tug of war, Ordo, Mas-Wrestling, Kurash, Ashyrtmaly Aba Gureshi are available on the zakazbiletov.kz website. Tickets for the opening ceremony, Kokpar, Kok Boru, Baige, Zhamby Atu, Tenge Ilu, Audaryspak, Kusbegilik, and Powerful Nomad will go on sale in early August.
Of particular interest are the traditional archery and asyk atu competitions. To date, 500 tickets have already been sold for these events, which indicates the high interest and popularity of these sports among spectators.
One of the key events of the games will be the cultural program "Caravan of Unity". This unique project is aimed at demonstrating the cultural wealth and diversity of nomadic peoples. As part of the cultural program of the games, the "Caravan of Unity" departed from the Zhambyl region, visiting all regions of the country. The "Caravan" will go to the capital of Kazakhstan.
The athletes from Kazakhstan participating in the World Nomad Games are also becoming known. Athletes of the national team are actively preparing for the important competition of the year in order to protect the honor of our country.
